We have written so much that all our awesomeness is getting hard to find. So for the sake of organization and our mutual love of lists, we have compiled a table of contents arranged by category for your perusing pleasure.
How to use the Table:
1. Browse Categories.
2. Click on the category title that piques your interest to bring you to a list of posts.
3. Click the post title that appeals to you to bring you to the page.
4. Enjoy.
Categories:
I. Islamic Guide:
is where we discuss, answer questions, and add our one cent (we wish we had two cents!) about Islam and the Muslims.
II. Convert Central:
is where we share our individual journeys to Islam; how we have navigated through cultures, communities, and countries; discuss the unique situations converts face in the West; and try to give some “been there” advice.
III. Women In Islam:
is where we remind women of their rights, deconstruct stereotypes about Muslims women, and sometimes just get girly.
IV. Take Back Islam:
is where we get indignant about what is being done in the name of Islam. That’s right, we are taking our religion back from the nut jobs.
V. Humanity:
is where we concern ourselves with dispelling made up nonsense about Muslims and get promote some some good causes.
VI. All Things Halal:
is where we get cookin’ and share recipes that avoid pork, alcohol and other bad-for-you stuff.
VII. All Things Hijab:
is 1 part DIY. 1 part fashion. And 2 parts discussion about modesty and what it means to the Muslim.
VIII. Stuff by Gracie Lawrence:
is where “Lawrence the Younger”, reporting from Canada, puts society and religion under the microscope.
IX. Stuff by Stephanie Siam:
is where “Siam, I am” weaves glorious narratives and gives her vantage point as an American convert living in the Middle East.
X. Stuff by Kaighla Um Dayo:
is where “the mother of Dayo” gets down to some serious storytelling with the unique perspective of a recent divorcee/survivor of polygyny, mother of four, and former evangelical Christian now Muslim American living abroad.
XI. Stuff by Theresa Corbin:
is where “Corbin the Elder” goes off on tangents, cracks wise, and gives her sarcastic perspective from the Dirty South.
